Majijuana, Hashish, Ganja, Weed or whatever you call it. Most pot smokers would not have seen the plant. Here it is... Sadar hills is abundant with Marijuana. Pity, i find no use for it since i dont do drugs. :-)

Many people dont get this view. Just by parting the curtain off their office window... The fields that u see have been waterlogged now for paddy cultivation. In two months time, you cant see anything but green.

Manipur diary

Hi folks

Its been a few months since i have come to Manipur. I have roamed the length and breadth of Imphal which is a part of my job here. I have been to the surrounding hills and also to many places in the valley. If u look closely into the map, u will understand that Imphal is a bowl surrounded by hills. Im posting some blogs which would evoke interest and even mixed feelings. Hope the reader likes it and appreciates the beauty and beastality of the irony called Manipur.

Panaroma of colours...

Photographed and touched with picasa. This picture is one of my first compositions after my decision to seriously pursue photography as a pastime. It is a scenic spot on the way from Tiruchirapalli to Namakkal. The emphasis is upon framing the far ridges with the overhanging branches of trees on the sides of the road. Also seen in the foreground is a cactus bush that adds to the robustness of the image.

Day into night with photoshop

i had been trying out a few things with Adobe Photoshop. I was able to learn a handful of things in the course of a few days. Posted above is an example. The image above was taken in a place called Mandu in MP, India during day. The one below is a rendering of the same with a night setting, with the help of PS.
